Roofline Lighting In The Capital Region
Roofline lighting runs a low profile LED track along the eaves, gables, and peaks of the house. It stays up all year, hides against the trim in daylight, and turns on to whatever color and brightness you pick at night.

What Roofline Lighting Actually Is
A slim aluminum channel is mounted under the drip edge and along the trim lines, with individually addressable RGBW LEDs seated inside it. The channel is color matched to the trim or the fascia, so the run reads as a shadow line rather than hardware.
There are no clips to hang every November and nothing to take down in January. One install covers warm white on an ordinary Tuesday, red and green in December, orange in October, and team colors on game day.
Where The Track Goes On Your House
Most homes get the full front roofline first, since that is the line people see from the street. From there the common additions are gable peaks, dormers, garage bays, columns, and the side rooflines visible from the driveway.
Segment control means each of those runs can sit at its own color and brightness. The front can hold a soft warm white while a peak runs slightly brighter, or the driveway side stays lit while the bedroom side dims down.
Installed To Survive A Capital Region Winter
Capital Pro Lighting prints its own mounting brackets, so the track sits flush against the roofline instead of hanging off it and catching ice. The InvisiLights fixtures we install are IP68 rated, which is what you want on a roof that sees ice in January and full sun in July.
Every job uses UL listed lights. InvisiLights track installs carry a lifetime parts warranty plus a 3 year labor warranty on the installation.
What Roofline Lighting Costs
InvisiLights Track Mounted runs about $29 per linear foot and starts around $2,500. InvisiClips / Trackless is roughly $20 per foot, and Govee Pro Permanent Lighting is around $10 per foot.

Inside The InvisiLights System
Capital Pro Lighting is an authorized InvisiLights dealer. These are InvisiLights' published product specs.
RGBW, Not Just RGB
InvisiLights uses a dedicated white channel alongside red, green, and blue, so warm white looks like real warm white instead of three colors blended together.
IP68 Rated
Dustproof and water resistant, which matters on a Capital Region roofline that sees ice in January and sun in July.
73 Built-In Presets
The app ships with 73 preset looks, and you can build and save unlimited presets of your own.
Scheduling
Set daily, weekly, or monthly schedules with the on and off hours you want. Set it once and forget it.
Light Segments
Control sections of the roofline separately for alternating colors, patterns, and movement.
Security Modes
Several security lighting modes keep the dark edges of the house lit without running a floodlight all night.

Bulb Spacing Comparison
See The Difference In Light Density
Both photos are the same house at night. The only change is how far apart the bulbs sit. Tighter spacing means smoother color blending and fewer dark gaps between points of light.

InvisiLights
12 inch spacing
Track and trackless both run 12 inch spacing, so colors blend smoothly across the roofline with tight, even points of light.

Govee
20 inch spacing
Govee runs 20 inch spacing, the budget-friendly option. You get the same color control with wider gaps between bulbs.

Authorized InvisiLights Dealer
We Install InvisiLights, And We Stand Behind It
We are an authorized dealer for InvisiLights, the permanent lighting system we recommend to most homeowners. Track mounted is our flagship, and trackless is the budget friendly way into the same commercial grade lights. We also install and program Govee permanent lighting for tighter budgets. The coverage is not identical, so here is exactly who handles what.
InvisiLights: we handle it
- Track mounted installs carry a lifetime parts warranty plus a 3 year labor warranty on our work.
- Trackless is the budget friendly way into the same commercial grade lights, with a 3 year parts warranty plus a 3 year labor warranty.
- If something happens to the system, you call us and we take care of it. No claim paperwork on your end.
- Custom 3D printed brackets and UL listed lights on every install.
Govee: we handle the claim, 1 year labor
- We warranty our installation for 1 year. We guarantee the install is done right.
- The Govee hardware carries its own 3 year manufacturer warranty from Govee.
- If the product fails, we handle the manufacturer claim for you instead of sending you to Govee.
- After the first year, the trip to swap or reinstall hardware is a billable service call.
A labor warranty covers the installation work we performed. If a mount, a run, a connection, or a channel we installed fails, we come back out and make it right at no charge for the length of that warranty. See full warranty coverage.

Common Questions
Where exactly does the track get mounted on the roofline?
Under the drip edge and along the fascia lines, so the channel sits in the shadow the trim already casts. Gable peaks, dormers, and garage bays are separate runs off the same system.
Will I see the track from the street during the day?
The channel is color matched to your trim or fascia and the brackets are printed to hold it tight to the house. From the sidewalk it reads as a line of trim rather than hardware.
Can different sections of the roofline run different colors?
Yes. The LEDs are individually addressable, so the front can hold a soft warm white while a peak runs brighter, or two colors can alternate segment by segment.
How much does roofline lighting cost per foot?
Track is about $29 per linear foot and starts near $2,500. InvisiClips / Trackless is roughly $20 per foot and Govee Pro Permanent Lighting about $10 per foot.
Does ice damage the run over a winter?
The brackets hold the channel flush instead of letting it hang off the edge where ice collects, and the InvisiLights fixtures are IP68 rated. Track installs carry a lifetime parts warranty.
